Sony Xperia Z4 to launch internationally as Xperia Z3+
Sony Japan, a week ago had announced its new Xperia Z4 smartphone for the upcoming year. The Xperia Z4 is just an incremental update to the Xperia Z3 without any major changes.
In our earlier report we had spoked about the fact that the Xperia Z4 may not be the 2015 Sony flagship. To get hold of it, Sony will market the Xperia Z4 outside the Japan as the Xperia Z3+. The source of information is the Sony SCR30 Style Cover Window description sticking for the “Xperia Z4/Z3+”.
The Xperia Z4 will be known internationally as the Xperia Z3+ with the same hardware as well. Sony is keeping the fanfare for the Xperia Z3+ launch in the selected countries and is expected to out in May. Sony Xperia Z3+ will feature the same OmniBalance design with a 6.9mm or thicker profile packing 5.2” 1080p display along with the 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 mobile processor coupled 3GB of RAM. In addition it will have a 32GB expandable storage, 20.7MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera and will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop packed with a 2,930 mAh battery.
